Thirty-Four Years and Counting
Jack and Judy Ober opened the Mendon Country Gift Barn in 1973. Their goal: to create an old-time New England themed country store which would sell gifts and furniture. From the beginning, Jack and Judy made every effort to provide customers with quality merchandise at reasonable prices, presented in an atmosphere which is pleasant and inviting.

In 1988 the Barn was doubled in size to expand giftware, furniture, and decorative accessories departments. Christmas merchandise moved into its own Victorian Christmas Barn. At the same time, Jack and Judy welcomed their daughter Jill and her husband Bill Krauss into the business.

Jack and Judy are committed to keeping the tradition of a warm, inviting atmosphere and an eclectic selection of merchandise which our customers have come to expect every time they visit the Barn.
